The Chico State Wildcats enter the 2nd semester sitting in 3rd place in WCRHL Division II. They will start the 2nd semester this weekend at their home event at the North Valley Hockey & Sports Complex in Hamilton City, CA. The Wildcats will face Division 3 and Junior College Division teams UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, San Jose State and West Valley College. While Chico plays in a higher division than each of these teams, none are to be taken lightly. Chico will then finish off their regular season as most WCRHL teams are, on Feb. 15-16 in Huntington Beach, CA. While the schedule has not been released for Huntington Beach, no doubt they will play some quality opponents like Northern Arizona University and their first ever match against Grand Canyon University.

Chico State’s Will Robinson leads the team in scoring with 14 goals and 6 assists (and is Top 10 in WCRHL D2 scoring), followed by Connor Melton just 1 goal behind. Caleb Hermle has 12 assists to lead the team. Goaltender Joshua Meyberg is solid, 2nd in WCRHL D2 in Save Percentage with 79.5%.
