The San Jose State Spartans currently sit at 2-6, in 6th place in the WCRHL Division 3 standings. They have 8 games left in the regular season to climb into a playoff position (top 4 teams head to WCRHL Conference Championships in March). Christian Sy leads SJSU in scoring, with 5 goals and 6 assists. Nick Dotzler, Andrew Sy, Jose De Leon and Anthony Carter all have 4-5 goals as well. Jack Robinson, previously in goal for the Spartans, is playing playmaker on D, and has 5 assists as well.

The Spartans 2 wins are at opposite ends of the spectrum – both at their home rink, Silver Creek Sportsplex, for the season opener. In their first game, with Robinson in goal, they defeated CSU Fullerton (D1) in a dramatic shootout. Great game on both sides. They also defeated UCLA by a score of 6-3. A close game against UC Santa Barbara in Huntington Beach as well. This weekend they will face UC Berkeley (D3), West Valley College (JC) and Chico State (D2). Their schedule is also posted for the final regular season event, Feb. 15-16 in Huntington Beach, CA.
