The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA) is pleased to announce that, for the second consecutive year, all 137 games of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships will be broadcast live from the Independence Events Center in Independence, MO. Games will be streamed online FREE of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship and support of Mission Hockey. The broadcast will be brought live to viewers by My Own Sports Live, and will also be archived and available to watch after they are complete. Games will also be available for purchase on DVD both online and at the venue.

The NCRHA and MOS Live were successful in 2014, having every game of a long event streamed live WITH play-by-play. This will continue for the 2015 event.
“Having announcers is key to enhancing the viewing experience,” said Rob Coggin, NCRHA Director of League Operations. “The NCRHA broadcast team is again loaded with experience, knowledge, and talent that will help bring the viewers from far and wide right into the arena. Play-by-play announcing helps our fans understand what is going on in the game, know what point it is in the game they are watching, and makes it easier to follow the action and learn who the players are on both teams.”
Additionally, many teams have submitted their warmup and fight songs, as well as unique goal horns. Teams have also submitted additional information, to give the broadcasters more background information on each team and player, which will add to the broadcast experience.
The NCRHA broadcast team is once again led by “The Voice of the NCRHA,” Bill Courtland of IBSU.net internet radio. Courtland has broadcast the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships live on internet radio for years and is a fan favorite with his distinctive voice and contagious enthusiasm.
Courtland will be joined by Jeremy Ellis, who has experience broadcasting games in the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League (MCRHL) and last year’s National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships in Aston, PA.
Another NCRHA veteran on the team will be Craig Jolly of the American Hockey Network, which has brought Bethel University games to listeners for several years, broadcasting their 2012 Division I National Championship and the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships in 2013 in Fort Myers, Florida.
Three more first-time NCRHA broadcasters round out the team: Travis Van Noty from California, Adam Stio from Las Vegas, and Chris Treft. Van Noty voiced the audio feed for the Western Collegiate Roller Hockey League Division I Championship Game in March and is the play-by-play announcer for California State University Northridge Ice Hockey; Stio officiated at the WCRHL Regional Championship Tournament in March, but his skills include broadcasting and announcing, having announced for both AIHL and WCRHL in years past; Treft is from Fort Wayne, IN and has worked with the Fort Wayne Komets and currently with the Adirondack Flames.
Games will take place over five days, from April 8 to April 12, 2015. Highlights of the schedule include the Division I Championship game at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 11, and the Division II Championship game at Noon on Sunday, April 12.
