This is the first in two series of pre-season articles for the upcoming 2014-2015 WCRHL season.  This series will feature articles highlighting the WCRHL players that received NCRHA 2013-2014 All-American honors.  The second series will feature articles highlighting the teams heading into the season.

Andrew Tamura is heading into his 4th season as UNLV's leading scorer and co-captain. The 2013-2014 season was a phenomenal one for the soon to be Senior, as he tallied 34 goals and 42 assists in just 30 games. Those points add to his career total of 210 points in his three seasons as a Rebel. However, it's not what Andrew does on the scoresheet that has given UNLV the opportunity to be successful. His desire to win, improve his fellow teammates, and unheralded work ethic is what sets Andrew apart from the rest of the players in the country. Tamura's 2.5 points per game average and ability to score in big games (5 GWG) has propelled him to his first selection as an NCRHA All-American.
