The WCRHL Regional Championship Tournament was held this past weekend at Corona Inline in Corona, CA. Congratulations to all teams for an outstanding weekend of collegiate roller hockey. Congratulations especially to the Regional Champions and Runners-up.
Division I
Regional Champion - Long Beach State
Runner-up - Arizona State
Long Beach defeated Arizona State 8-7 in overtime.
Division II
Regional Champion - UC San Diego (2 years in a row)
Runner-up - Chico State
UCSD defeated Chico State by a score of 6-2. Chico State made a great playoff run and upset UC Berkeley in the semifinals.
B Division
Regional Champion - Arizona State B
Runner-up - UC Santa Barbara B Gold (defending champion)
Arizona State B defeated UCSB B Gold 6-5 in overtime.
