WCRHL Pre-Season Spotlight: Sonoma State University

Sonoma State University was the turnaround team of the year in Division II. In 2007-2008 the team finished with 3 wins on the season. In 2008-2009 the team was above .500 and qualified for the playoffs for the first time since the 2003-2004 season. The SSU team also added a B Division team for the first time in 2008-2009. The Division II team is returning Ryan Bordley, Garrett Bordley, Scott Runge, Jerry Rock, Sean Briscoe, goaltender Amber Carey, Josh Carey, and Marcus Anderholm.

Sonoma State tryouts are going to be in mid September which will be held at Bladium Sports Complex in Alameda.
